“We lost Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. over five decades ago yet African-Americans continue to struggle with social and economic disparities, which has resulted in a mass re-enslavement of African-Americans especially males through the prison industrial complex,” -Rahiem Shabazz.
“The vision behind the documentary is to open up critical dialogue around the consequences of the failing school system, the prison industrial complex and the steps to achieve social change,” -Rahiem Shabazz
