Tahiry Rejects Joe Budden’s Marriage Proposal on “Love & Hip Hop New York”

 On Monday, Joe Budden proposed to his longtime on and off again girlfriend Tahiry Jose in Times Square, New York. Unfortunately she said no. No surprise since she says she doesn’t trust him. In Joe & Tahiry’s relationship trust was and is a big factor.  Tahiry responded with a statement about her view of love, “Love is trust. And I don’t trust you right now. I can’t believe you. One day you’re good. One day you’re bad. One day there’s foundation on my pillow cases. One day you have a ring. How am I supposed to believe you?”

 

Joe Budden stands up. “That’s a no” he says. Tahiry continues to speak about trust and says “Nobody gives a f**k about the clarity of the stone or your nice f**king velour jacket. Get your shit right”. In an interview with Budden after the proposal, he discusses patience. “Tahiry and I are meant to be together. It’s inevitable. If that means I have to wait, then wait it is.”
