New Music Alert: Kelis Releases New Video For “Jerk Ribs”

 

For the video for her new 2013 single “Jerk Ribs” Kelis travels to Mexico. The concept of the new visual is following the diva around as she gets dressed up for a number of photo shoots. You can also catch the singlet visiting the Christ of the Sacred Heart and mingles with the natives. The visual will definitely get fans excited for her upcoming album Food which is set to drop on April 22.

The last we heard from this Harlem native was her Flesh Tone album release back in 2010. The world first fell for Kelis when she partnered up with hip-hop producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo better known as The Neptunes. These three formed a strong bond once they were introduced to each other and together created Kelis debut album Kaleidoscope. We now get to enjoy a taste of that magic from Kelis again with the upcoming release of Food.
