“Love & Hip Hop” Star Mendeecees Harris was released on bail on Monday after sitting on ice for over a year. Mendeecees Harris ‘girlfriend and fellow “Love & Hip Hop” star Yandy Smith paid a $200,000 bail package as U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. released the music manager from the Yates County Jail.
Democratic and Chronicle caught up with Yandy as Harris was being released while the “Love & Hip Hop’s” film crew was also on sight. Though out on bail, Harris still has a fight ahead of him as The FEDS have charged him with participating in a $2.5 million heroin and cocaine drug trafficking ring between Rochester, New York and New York City. Two of his alleged co-conspirators, brother Tyrus Harris and Ronald Walker, have already pled guilty.
If convicted, Mendeecees could face 30 years or more in prison. Harris will probably take a plea as well.
