New Orleans R&B singer August Alsina sat down with the crew at HOT97 this week to discuss making XXL’s 2014 Freshman Class cover and also addresses his incident on 106 & Park.
HOT97’s morning show most definitely did not beat around the bush when speaking with the up & coming singer. I personally thought August Alsina handled himself very well.
As August said, “People get honesty and mean mixed up”. Sometimes people even run from the truth. I can’t and will not knock a brother for keeping it real. To be all the way 100, we need more of that in our faces. A lot of the times we see things as the way we perceive them, but that doesn’t necessarily make it the truth. August brings the truth and it is quite refreshing. His realness along his undeniable singing skills is what is going to keep this twenty-one year old around for years. It’s called “longevity” people, so please get familiar with this young man’s face, because he is not going anywhere.
