Last night, an interview aired on CNN between the now infamous Donald Sterling and CNN’s Anderson Cooper. The Clippers owner (for now) dug himself an even deeper grave by ripping Magic Johnson for not being responsible while having the AIDS virus and also stated that Magic never gave back to the black community. The racist man even took the time out to call Anderson Cooper a racist.
Finally, Magic Johnson responded and fired back at Sterling for his false allegations. Today, Magic called in to TMZ and spoke to them about his philanthropy and giving back to the community. “I’m a proud black man. I’m a leader in the black community and I take that role seriously,” Johnson said.
Magic ultimately decided to take the higher road with his TMZ conversation and instead of responding with jabs of his own, he simply stated that the guy needs help. “It’s sad. We just got to pray for him.”
Check out the video with Magic Johnson and also take the time to watch Anderson Cooper’s full interview with Donald Sterling. I bet you won’t find one apology from Sterling to the black community. Has he even apologized just once for his actions? Comment below and let us know where you stand on this whole Donald Sterling fiasco.
