New Video Alert: Dee-1 – “Jason Geter”

 Following the audio release of “Jason Geter” from last week, Dee-1 follows up with the visuals directed by Charley Mac. This video re-enacts the story of Dee-1 traveling state to state, doing open mics, crashing his car, catching greyhound buses….. all to meet Jason Geter and have a shot at him hearing his music and working with him. Dee-1 stated,

“We went to Atlanta and Birmingham to shoot it. It made me reminisce on how much I’ve been working over the years to make my dreams of making it in hip hop come true. We went to the exact hospital in Alabama where I had to spend the night after my wreck, the exact Greyhound station, the exact club I used to do open mic showcases at, everything. It just brought back a lot of memories. I hope this video motivates someone who has a dream to get up off their butt and go chase it!” 

“Jason Geter” is the first track released off of Dee-1’s upcoming mixtape, Good Luck With That, set to release this summer.
