Earlier this week boxer Adrien Broner gifted $1,000 to a homeless man in his attempt to pay it forward. As kind of an act that it was, it unfortunately did not end well for the homeless man. Soon after the video went viral, the homeless guy was attacked and the money was taken. In the video above you can see the homeless guy with a vicious black eye as he explains what exactly happened.
To make matters even worse, the homeless guy only got to spend maybe $20 to $30 of the $1,000. If you have a heart, you have to feel for this man. I mean c’mon, look at his eye. Its almost like Broner snapped out of his moment of clarity and came back for his money.
