While the Wu-Tang Clan has been pretty quiet since having quite the buzz just weeks ago, Raekwon The Chef decides to make some noise with his recent track “Wishing On A Star”.
“Wishing On A Star” is a throwback classic from the 70’s, which may be news to younger audiences who remember Jay Z’s “Wishing On A Star” track. The song was actually sampled a few times and continues to be, as Raekwon puts his own spin on the 70’s classic.
This song appears to be the first in what will be a weekly thing for the Wu-Tang general, releasing a “throwback track”, until the release of his album F.I.L.A.
