Lil’ Wayne has officially signed his daughter, Reginae, to YMCMB Entertainment, making her a YMCMBP (Young Money Cash Money Princess). The former OMG Girl released the official audio and visual on July 2nd, courtesy of Brock Beauty, Inc.. The Hannah Lux Davis-directed music video features neon lights, graffiti and a small Hair Finity promotion with Reginae dressed in blinged-out urban hip hop wardrobe with big hoop earrings and fresh kicks.
Of course, Carter is no stranger to the music and entertainment business, with Toya Wright and Lil’ Wayne as her parents. She was one of the original OMG Girlz, alongside Lourdes Rodriguez and current OMG Girlz, Zonnique Pullins and Bajha Rodriguez. As a OMG Girl, Reginae was featured in the music video for “Pretty Girl Bag” and recorded songs, “Pretty Girl Bag” and “Ain’t Nobody”. Reginae has made covers to songs such as Nicki Minaj’s “Your Love” and created a song, “Daddy’s Little Girl” on SoundCloud with Lourdes Rodriguez.
Can Reginae successfully fill the big shoes that her four-time Grammy Award winning father has worn? Share your thoughts.
