The powerful, yet soulful R&B singer of the new generation Jazmine Sullivan is back again with her new single titled “Forever Don’t Last.” The sweet nothings of a love once spoken, Jazmine reminisces on a past romance that has now come to an end. This single along with a previous release titled “Stupid Girls” can be expected to feature on her forthcoming album “Reality Show.”
Missy Elliot’s protege and Philly native is best for transferring feelings of the heart. Whether the love is immersing or dying slowly her lyrics and neo-soul sound arouses a world of emotions listeners can relate to.
A few of her well known hits throughout her career include “Lions, Tigers, and Bears,” “Bust Your Windows,” “Excuse Me,” and “Dumb.” She has made recent appearances at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. and the 365 Black Awards performing some of these greatest hits.
“I Still think about the good times we had, and how you used to make me laugh. But baby I know most times we were meant to let go. So every time I wanna call what always helps is when I think of the pain I realize I’m better off by myself,” she sings mournfully.
