T.I. was awarded the honor of “Keys to the City” yesterday in Jackson, Mississippi. The King of the South was rewarded for his hard work for the community over the years which included helping raise funds during Hurricane Katrina. Tip also spoke to the kids and warned them about the pitfalls of the streets and encouraged them to be positive influences on their community. Mayor Tony Yarber also addressed a few haters who felt some type away about honoring Tip because of his criminal past as he stated that T.I. would have more of an impact on the youth and that T.I. was a prime example of turning your life around.
