It didn’t take long for Cameron Jibril Thomaz better known as Wiz Khalifa to let his soon to be ex-wife know what he thinks about her trying to get full custody of their 1-year old son Sebastian. It court documents that were just filed today by the rapper’s attorney Laura Wasser in Los Angeles, the rapper tells the court that he has no problem giving Amber the one million dollars that was promised to her nor does he have an issue with giving her at least 5k in spousal support but he is drawing the line when it comes to her getting full custody of their child. The rapper feels that there is no basis for such a ridiculous request and that the court should grant them joint custody as this would be in the best interest of the child. California courts typically go for joint custody in most of these type of cases unless there is clear evidence that granting sole custody to parent would be best for the child.
For Amber Rose to prevail in such a request she must show the court that the rapper is a bad father and there has not been anything showing that he is a bad parent from what has been previously reported in the media. Since medical weed smoking in California is legal, we doubt if Amber will try to play the “drug usage” card. Hopefully for all parties concerned, these two will work out their difference and not allow it to follow in the spirit of the high-profile divorce and custody battle of Usher Raymond and his former wife Tameka Foster-Raymond.
