90’s MC Rah Digga channels the spirit of political activist Angela Davis, the J-Pilot produced song has a 1970’s old school feel to it, because of its guitar sample played throughout the track.
Rah Digga attacks the “Diva” nature of other female rappers today by rapping lines like:
I’m Angela Davis, I ain’t shakin my buns, I’m yellin ‘Power To The People” and wavin’ my gun.”
Digga uses her skills to preach a message to the listeners that often stereotype female MCs’.
