    Day one of the Revolt Music Conference celebrates the one year on-air anniversary. The day started with welcome remarks from CEO Keith Clinkscales, along with addresses by Guy Oseary(Manager and Founder of Maverick0, Bob Pittman (Chairman and CEO of IHeartMedia), and a full and fun day of panels and performances by Flo Rida, Jhene Aiko, and SZA. Revolt’s Chairman Sean Combs joined in on the panels by sitting in the audience with his son.

    Russell Simmons received a standing ovation on the morning of day two of the Revolt Music Conference by first  meditating. He encouraged the young group of future artists and entrepreneurs to stay hungry and appreciate the power of one’s mind. Panels during day two featured some of the biggest people of their industries including Frank Copper(CMO of Pepsico), and Mark Ecko (Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Complex Media) who both were on the “The New Deal: Brands and Artists” panel. Legendary music producer Dallas Austin was featured on “The Business of Music Publishing” along with Jon Pratt(President, Warner/Chappell Music), Jessica Rivera(SVP, Head of East Coast Operations of Universal Music Publishing), and singer-songwriters Ester Dean and James Fauntleroy.

    Sean “Diddy” Combs (Chairman of Revolt TV) led a discussing panel titled “#AskDiddy” on day two. In front of a packed house, he offered career advice for the crowd, and later he answered a few questions from the audience. At night during the gala dinner, R&B singer Ne-Yo performed a medley of his known hits and iconic music industry executive Jimmy Iovine was presented with the “Started From The Bottom Now We’re Here” award and then spoke about his forty-year career. Giving a moving speech about the current state of music and the industry’s ever-changing nature,”In your own way, reflecting your own musical passions, I do call upon all of you to find your way to innovate and be a part of music’s future…We are no longer in the music business, but in the business of music.” Check out some of the images below to get a taste of the Revolt experience:
