Just day after its debut, R&B group Jagged Edge’s new album “JE Heartbreak II” went number one on Amazon, Itunes, and Google Play. The group embraced an incredible and aggressive digital marketing campaign in the weeks leading up to the album release. Also, Jagged Edge took over Vibe magazine’s Instragam and showed 50,000 followers a sneak peek inside of their release day activities, which included exclusive interviews, performances, and in-store appearances.
“This initial response to ‘JE Heatbreak’ confirms my belief that people really do want true R&B,” says So So Def CEO Jermaine Dupri. “I look forward to continue showing the industry that this kind of music is wanted in today’s marketplace.”
JE Heartbreak II” is now available for purchase everywhere.
