Most of us heard about the news of Raymond “Benzino” Scott and Althea Heart getting fired from Love & Hip Hop. Last week, it was confirmed by various sources that Mona Scott-Young and other producers of the hit reality TV show gave the Hip Hop Weekly c0-owner and his fiancé the boot. Their firing was highly anticipated after the blow-up that occurred on the reunion show involving Althea Heart, Scott’s fiancé and Joseline Hernandez. It didn’t help matters much that Scott tried to defend Heart by allegedly striking Hernandez.
In a recent interview with Wetpaint, R&B star K. Michelle had a few things to say about former cast-mate Benzino and his fiancé Althea heart claiming she knew the real reason why they were terminated. That obviously didn’t sit well with Scott seeing that K. Michelle might in fact had proprietary information about the situation because she is in fact managed by the show’s producer Mona Scott-Young.
“If it’s your time to go, then it’s your time to go. I thought Benzino was wilding. I mean, they were boring as s—t to me, so it is what it is.’ She says.
Although both Scott and Heart had stated on Twitter that they were unsure why they were removed from the show, they suggested that it was a way of Mona taking Joesline and Stevie J’s side in the matter.
“I mean, there were other reasons they were let go that I’m not at liberty to say, and he deserved that, to be let go. It was a serious situation. Says K. Michelle.”
