On Saturday night, rapper Kendrick Lamar performed his latest single “I” on the SNL stage. The TDE MC wore a white t-shirt, black contacts, and half-braided hair, viewers were confused on why he would show up on stage with this persona.
It appears that he was paying homage to Method Man’s debut solo album “Tical.” November 15th is the 20th anniversary date of the Wu-Tang Clan member’s album and the contacts and hair were a duplicate of Meth’s appearance in the “I’ll be There/You’re All I Need To Get By” video.
