The killing of Mike Brown and Eric Garner has sent the entire country into an uproar. Protestors all over America, including some celebrities have voiced their opinions on the sensitive issue. Hip Hop Enquirer’s Editor-in-Chief Dennis Byron spoke to Love & Hip Hop’s Yandy Smith. The reality TV star talked about the importance of teaching African-American children the dangers that occur when you walk out the door.
When asked about what she could do to teach her young sons the truth about racism, she says, “All I can do is to tell them to stay educated, pray, and be respectful and sometimes that isn’t enough.”
