While the duo is excited about the Grammy noms, 4th quarter of 2014 has the guys busy working on numerous A-listers as well as their upcoming solo album. In October Rock City recently released their first single “I’m That” featuring 2Chaniz the flagship single on their long-awaited project (Kemosabe/RCA). In addition to their breakout single, the VI brothers penned some of 4th quarters fastest climbing singles including; Usher’s ode to his Atlanta roots “I Don’t Mind” featuring Juicy J, and rap Queen Nikki Minaj’s most recent single, “Only” featuring Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne. Rock City also assisted with Black Eyed Pea’s hot girl Fergie’s comeback to the top 40. Fergie’s “L.A. Love” has not only been rising on the charts but has been featured as the opening song for Bravo’s “Khole and Kourtney Take The Hamptons” and also new the 2015 Chrysler commercial. “We are constantly working so we really don’t stop and think about stuff like this, ” Theron says when asked how he felt about the Grammy nominations, ” but it is an honor to be competing against yourself.
