Fresh off 12-city tour with Twista, along with the 17-city “Get Loud” tour with headliners Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Gillie Da Kid announces new distribution deal with Capitol Records and brings in a new sound that is the exact opposite of his hardcore image. On ” Tattoo,” which features Jeremih and production from Hitmaker Mannie Fresh. Fans get to see a preview of this fresh new sound in the video.
“I’m excited about this record and the way the fans are receiving it. Having the opportunity to work with such a talented melody maker like Jeremih was a great experience,” says Gillie. “My upcoming album is going to be a testament to who I am and a glimpse at how much this music is a part of my life”
The video is directed by Erica Hayes and Gina Harrell, it shows off heavily tatted vixens, while showing an interest in wild artwork that are being inked onto bodies. The lighting in the tattoo-shop like music video gives Gillie and Jeremih artistic and dark looks. Watch the “Tattoo” video above.
