Soulja Boy caught a break on his arrest on a gun charge earlier in the year when he plead no contest and took a deal. The case steams from a January 22 case he caught after being pulled over for running a stop sign. Officers searched his vehicle and discovered a handgun under the passenger seat. Soulja denied ownership of the gun allegedly stating he loaned the vehicle to a neighbor and they left their pistol in the car by mistake.
After Soulja’s December 18 court hearing the charges were dropped but Soulja was placed on 24 months of summary probation along with 170 hours of community service. Soulja Boy has gone through a lot in the year 2014 and hopefully 2015 he will be making better decisions and checking his vehicles after loaning them out.
