G-Unit’s Young Buck starts off 2015 with a bang! Releasing his freestyle called “New Year’s Cake,” Buck spits over Drake and Jay Z’s “Pound Cake” instrumental. On the track, he tells listeners to respect his “gangsta,” and says the money does not make him, he makes it. Rapping with the same hunger and aggression he shown in the early days of G-Unit, Buck addresses everyone that has written him off.
“Ya’ll don’t know how hard it is to keep 50 calm / If it weren’t for me, ni**a, you would miss your mom / Imagine a soldier talking to the fu**ing don / Saying that’s enough cuz, the war is won,” raps Young Buck.
G-Unit’s new and upcoming EP “The Beast is G-Unit” will be released this year, following August’s “The Beauty of Independence.”
