Interview conducted by Dennis Byron
This past weekend, the Hip Hop Enquirer interviewed with actor and comedian, Rodney Perry, to discuss his new one hour special “Off The Chain” which will air on Bounce TV.
Season two of “Off The Chain” will move to one hour specials instead of the 30 minute show time from season one and will feature individual comedy specials from multiple comedians throughout the season.
During the interview the conversation shifted when Perry was asked about using any “Bill Cosby” type jokes in his skits.
“Do I think that Bill Cosby raped 20 something women? I don’t think so personally,” said Perry.
Perry questioned that if the allegations against Bill Cosby were true then why now and how can all of the women that have come forward all say the same thing?
“When you start using words like rape you activate people that have been hurt. So you have all of these women that been hurt, maybe by someone that looks like Mr. Cosby,” said Perry. “I’m not really trippin off the possibility because I know powerful guys that have used their power to get women all day.
Perry said that at the time whoever had the pills is like having the weed or the molly today and jokingly said that “Bill got the pills.”
The interview was conducted in three parts and if you enjoyed this, you will love what else America’s funny man had to say about his favorite rapper, hollywood ambitions and much more.
Viewers can look for “Off The Chain” to air on Bounce TV on January 13.
