In an exclusive interview with DJ Smallz, Atlanta area rapper and “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” cast member, Lil Scrappy, speaks out on the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Scrappy, 31, reflected on African slaves being “big business” when they were transported to America as slaves and commented that African-Americans are still big business today. When discussing the shooting death of Michael Brown, Scrappy said that he doesn’t know what exactly happened because he wasn’t there but, he feels that police are trained to diffuse situations to protect the people.

“They [Police] don’t get what they deserve to get and they out there putting their life on the line and you know some of us are some hard-heads,” said Scrappy. “If that makes you that mad to kill me, then you don’t need to be no police but you need to be in the army.”

When asked if he has ever dealt with crooked cops, Scrappy admitted that police have taken drugs, pills, and around $4,000 cash from him.

“It just shows you that those folks are human too,” said Scrappy.
