Rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, has announced that he plans to run for mayor of his hometown of College Park, Georgia.
In two separate interviews the Def Jam recording artist touched on the topic of running for mayor.
“I’m a musician, not a politician. I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.” 2 Chainz said in an interview with XXL magazine.
Before he gets ahead of himself, 2 Chainz wants to see what his future holds and that he meets all of the qualifications. He graduated from Alabama State University with 4.o GPA. The only obstacle is that the rapper no longer lives in College Park.
