Well known rap artist Dominc “The Jacka” West from The Bay was found shot and killed in East Oakland, California. According to CBS San Francisco, witnesses claim they heard several gunshots late Monday night around 8:15 pm. Unfortunately, there are no current suspects involved in the shooting.
Often called the “local legend” for his unique because of his unique sound. The Jacka is also apart of ’90’s group The Mob Figaz group, but reportedly went solo recently. The underground rapper recently worked with Philadelphia MC Freeway for the “Highway Robbery” LP, which was released last year.
The music industry took to social media to mourn the loss of the rapper including DJ Mustard, Freddie Gibbs, DJ Premier, and more.
