Halfway through the evening, Benzino and Althea “Thi Thi” Heart took over the DJ booth to announce her upcoming EP, Controversy. The new album will be a joint venture between AMS Music Entertainment and Benzino, who executive produced the project. The reality star couple, who starred in last season’s record-breaking “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” are rumored to be announcing another reality show soon. They are currently in production with Centric for a one-hour “Being” special focusing on the engaged duo that is set to air later this spring.
While camera’s were rolling in the Hip Hop Weekly interview lounge, guests in attendance were treated to cocktails from Tiny’s Tequila and were excited to see Tiny in the crowd. Tiny was gracious and took photos with all of her fans. Additional celebrities in attendance included “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member, Demetria McKinney, Tara Wallace from “Love & Hip Hop NY” and rapper Rahzel from The Roots.
