The Lupe Fiasco Foundation has selected M.U.R.A.L. (Magnifying Urban Realities and Affecting Lives) as its new name. With the continued support of Wasalu Muhammad Jaco aka Lupe Fiasco, M.U.R.A.L. will continue to support programs inspired by the early philanthropy of Mr. Jaco and Co-founder Ayesha Jaco. The foundation will also encompass every aspect of the current program initiatives and the legacy of the Jaco family. Coined as one of the “Top Organizations to Save Chicago” in XXL Magazine, M.U.R.A.L., (The Lupe Fiasco Foundation) has served hundreds of youth throughout the city of Chicago. The immense impact the organization has made in the city has created and supported youth empowerment organizations such as Project Orange Tree, launched food & liquor neighborhood campaigns, coat drives and more.
Lupe also dropped his fifth album Tetsuo & Youth in January where he continues to spit positivity and envoke change among the youth and bring more awareness to the gang violence and murders going on in Chicago and throughout the country.
