The Bodega Brovas have released the video for  “The Freshest Facade” featuring Astronautalis, from their upcoming album “L.G.A.(Loaded Guns & Alcohol)”, which will offer a fresh new sound from the group. Produced entirely by Picnictyme of Erykah Badu’s Cannabinoids, “L.G.A” focuses on bringing back the roots of real hip hop. The Bodega Brovas (www.bodegabrovas.com) are an indie Hip-Hop group composed of three emcees hailing from various parts of the country who all have their hands in different projects. Although each of the Bodega Brovas have their own passions, they have two things in common. They believe in Hip Hop, and they believe that fun should always be a priority.

Much like a bodega, their diverse product caters to all types, which has led them to spend the better part of the last 5 years touring across the US and Europe. Whether they’re on tour or at home working on new music, Headkrack (co-host of Dish Nation’s The Rickey Smiley Show), Keynote, and Travii continue to support real Hip Hop while making their listeners continue to Believe In Bodega.

The visuals for “The Freshest Facade”showcase the group telling the story of how today the hip hop culture focuses more on living a lavish lifestyle and how artists battle with the pressures of making it to the top.

The Bodega Brovas - The Freshest Facade“Nothing in my savings, my savings crushed. People think I’m ballin’.”

Not your typical rap song or video, this track gives you a clearer picture of what real artists go through.

The indie hip-hop group has spent the last 5 years touring across the US and Europe. During a Bodega show, the audience is involved and it allows them to have a good time.

The long-awaited album “L.G.A.” will be released this fall.
