The Black Women Film Summit kicked off last night with the opening of Centric’s Single Ladies at the Spelman College’s Cosby Auditorium. Hosted by Stacii Jae and Lamman Rucker, along with Black Women Film Network chairman and Attorney Donald Woodard, the three went on to welcome the festival attendees.
Additional attendees at the event were VH1’s Sorority Sisters’ stars Adrene Ashford, April McRae, Priyanka Banks, Metoya Monroe, Beautii Joseph, WE TV’s Cutting It In The ATL star Maja Sly, and actress Judi Blair.
The film summit continues today with the “Untold Stories Luncheon,” which is a waster class by actress Charity Jordan.
