Interview: JR. Boss Talks “Public Enemy No. 1” Mixtape & More

    Jr. Boss, born in New York but raised in Montgomery, AL rapper recently sat down with DJ Smallz Eyes to discuss everything from his brand new mixtape, “Public Enemy No. 1” to his artwork, in general. He also shared his musical knowledge and his thoughts on himself as an artist as well as how others perceive him. “I was underrated for a long time, I’m not sayin’ I’m the best rapper out there but I know I stand my ground.”  Boss says.

    He went on to break down each aspect of his mixtape from the title to the artwork, giving an in-depth look into his creative thought process. He maintains the fact that he’s lived everything that he raps about which sets him apart as a rapper and the pain that he’s been through resonates through his music.

    “I felt like I got a story to tell and I want folks to hear what I had to tell and my side of the story. I just got a lot of pain in my music because I been through so much..” Jr. Boss explains when asked about the artwork of his music and the message behind it.
