Early this morning, hip hop was gifted with a surprise Kendrick Lamar album. Lamar’s sophomore release “To Pimp A Butterfly,” which was scheduled to be released on March 23rd. TDE’s CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith is not pleased with Interscope, who is the label behind Top Dawg Entertainment.
The CEO took his frustration out on Twitter by sarcastically thanking the major record label for leaking the album a week early on iTunes and Spotify.

“I WOULD LIKE 2 PERSONALLY THANK @Interscope FOR FUCKING UP OUR RELEASE… SOMEBODY GOTS 2 PAY 4 THIS MISTAKE !!!! #TOP.” tweeted the TDE CEO. Kendrick seemed to shake off the unexpected release, by tweeting “Keep calm. All is well.”
