If you ask how video number one caused video number two? I have few answers for you. Hip Hop has long been a scapegoat for people who do not want to own up to their own actions. If you knew better you would do better. The idea that somehow the SAE house mom, Beauton Gilbow, is a victim and that hip hop is to blame for her using the word nigga is as stupid and horrendous as the name Beauton Gilbow is.

“Uhh well if you do not want white people saying the word, then you should not be saying it.” Has become the most redundant and invalid argument for the extermination of nigga in hip hop. Essentially you just are saying that white people mimic everything black people do, while there is a long tracklist of this actually happening. To enjoy hip hop does not mean you have to say nigga. The same way being a fan of hip hop does not incorporate you into a world of guns and drugs. There is a spectrum in hip hop that ranges from the ignorant and ratchet sixteen bars you could imagine to the most soulful, upbringing and unifying sixteen you may ever hear in your life.

I am a straight man, I listen to Nicki Minaj from time to time and never in my life have I said privately, on tape, or in public…

This dude named Michael used to ride motorcycles
Dick bigger than a tower, I ain’t talking about Eiffel’s
Real country ass nigga, let me play with his rifle

Courtesy of the smash single “Anaconda”. I also grew up on Eminem and never had the urge to say or refer to a gay person as a f*g. I understand that no one person or group can own a word or phrase. Yet, with the history of abuse this word has had on black and dark-skinned people if the word is going to be used let us internally make any decision to stop using it for ourselves.

Listening to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and the song “I” he caps it off with an a capella verse that could end any point that is being made here in this article.

So I’ma dedicate this one verse to Oprah
On how the infamous, sensitive N-word control us
So many artist gave her an explanation to hold us
Well this is my explanation straight from Ethiopia
N-E-G-U-S definition: royalty; King royalty – wait listen
N-E-G-U-S description: Black emperor, King, ruler, now let me finish
The history books overlooked the word and hide it
America tried to make it to a house divided
The homies don’t recognize we be using it wrong
So I’ma break it down and put my game in the song
    N-E-G-U-S, say it with me
Or say no more. Black stars can come and get me
    Take it from Oprah Winfrey
Tell her she right on time
Kendrick Lamar, by far, realist Negus alive

If this word can be distorted by the Europeans to dehumanize blacks from their history and lineage; and now its meaning has obtained somewhat a certain level of affection among a select group of blacks, and the consequence is that white people can not use it? Well this is not much of a conversation to have.
