OddFuture rapper Earl Sweatshirt has officially released his latest album “I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album.” After announcing it last week Earl released a video for his song “Grief” and blasted his label for messing up his album rollout.
“Good grief, I’ve been reaping what I sow,” he raps on “Grief,” the first single. “I ain’t been outside in a minute / I been living what I wrote.” All he sees out there are snakes – “mama taught me how to read ‘em when I look” – so he’s staying in. He characterizes his grandmother’s death as when she “drank the mud.”
The album features appearances by Vince Staples, who opens up the album with “Wool.” On “DNA,” East Coast rapper Dash (nephew of hip hop royalty Damon Dash) offers an amazing verse about an long-gone relative.
“I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album” is now available on iTunes or you can stream below on Spotify.
