After closing out SXSW on Saturday, J. Cole drops a powerful and cinematic video for his single “G.O.M.D.” off his latest album “2014 Forest Hills Drive.” In the clip, Cole plays a house slave who organizes an escape off the plantation. During the dinner scene, he picks the keys off the floor and unlocks the guns and gives them to the other slaves. Then they eventually tie up the slave owners and run off to celebrate their freedom by dancing around the bonfire.
J. Cole is currently on his “Forest Hills Drive” tour and will head to Europe on April 30th with special guests Jhené Aiko and Pusha T, and return to North America for “Act 3: Hollywood” with Big Sean, YG, Jeremih, Bas, Cozz, and Omen.
