Co-CEO of Authentik Music Group (AMG) and Houston native, Boston George, sits down with DJ Smallz to decode his new mixtape “Drug War 2,” the follow up to the first Drug War mixtape.
The 16-track mixtape dropped on March 31 co-stars Boo Rossini and features Yo Gotti, Scarface, and Lil boosie. The title drug war comes from Boston George’s perspective of having to battle for numbers or positioning in the game.
Drug War 2 is definitely a record for the streets providing a decent mix of club banging beats and savvy drug references. In the interview the Boston George breaks down some of the better tracks and describes some of the thought processes that went behind the production of the mixtape.
