Actress and Fox News contributor Stacey Dash, went on The Meredith Vieira Show and made some controversial remarks when the two discussed the gender pay gap. When asked about men making more money on the dollar than women Dash said, “stop making excuses”. Also that it was “the same thing as race, it’s an excuse stop making excuses”, she stated.
Of course she received a lot of backlash over the comments, as many do not see what excuse is being made for creating awareness that women are paid less. But Stacey Dash is not backing down she went on Twitter and continued to send a fury of thought-provoking tweets or complete nonsense, depending how you look at it.
The 77 cents vs a dollar is based on B.S. statistics. STOP USING IT. CELEBRATE that EDUCATED women in their 20’s now make more than men!

I DON’T CARE IF I AM THE LONE VOICE IN THE WOODS, I WILL NOT LET THE GOVERNMENT MAKE WOMEN AN ENTITLEMENT CLASS. #HOLDINGTHELINE

Not much of a surprise since Stacey Dash is on the Fox News payroll, the more controversy she creates opposed to actual well-informed statements is better for them. When Vieira told Stacey Dash the documented fact that by the time her 22-year old daughter would be 65 once there was equal pay, Dash only could reply ““Well… I feel like… I don’t… I don’t know if that’s true..” Stacey has also defended Paula Deen, chastised Oprah over a Trayvon Martin comment, and victim blamed when discussing rape. You’re really on a roll here Ms. Dash.
