It is not getting any better for The Migos’ legal troubles. Member Offset, who are already being held without bond, are now being charged with battery and causing a riot in a penal institution. The fight occurred on Saturday and the other inmate involved reportedly had “visible injury to the right side of his head”. Bulloch County Chief Deputy said the assault was captured on video surveillance.
The Migos were arrested last month while performing at Georgia Southern University, when the vans they arrived in supposedly smelled of marijuana. After a search was conducted in the vans, other drugs were found along with some firearms. The other two members of the group were released on $10,000 bond but Offset was denied due to earlier felonies.
This new development is going to make it even more difficult to get out as Offset still faces charges of marijuana possession, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a weapon in a school safety zone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is set for another bond hearing on May 8th and The Migos have already postponed their Yung Rich Nation tour until July.
