Actor and comedian Mark Curry was not in a pleasant mood when he touched down from his Delta airlines flight. TMZ caught up with the star of Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper and Nick at Nite’s See Dad Run as the first thing Delta Airlines asked Curry was, “Are you carrying a loaded weapon”?
According to Mark Curry, the agent who was black did not say hello to the actor or give any greeting but instead just asked about him having a loaded weapon on him. Curry who rides first class as a silver elite member is very upset because as he said, “If she would have pushed the button or did something I would have got killed”. Curry would make one last statement to Delta by saying, “All black people don’t carry guns!”
Delta is investigating the claims and are taking them very seriously according to a company spokesperson. The agent said she overheard him saying he had a loaded gun on him. Which makes almost no sense, TSA has to be on it in a post 9/11 world but this just sounds like pure profiling. Whether this is apart of Delta airlines policies or she asked at her own discretion is what will be reveled soon. Curry may not be hanging with Delta Airlines much longer.
We have to ask, is this the proper protocol employees have to follow if they suspect someone may be carrying a loaded weapon or is that the task for TSA?
