The Cherry Party, the label from noted A&R executive Jolene Cherry, has signed a new agreement with RED Distribution for digital and physical distribution in the U.S. and Canada, it was announced today.
The Cherry Party, which was incubated as a joint venture imprint through Sony Music Entertainment’s RED Associated Labels and is now an independent label, is home to a diverse roster of artists.

Previously a Senior VP of A&R at Universal Music, Cherry ushered in Streamline Records’ Vincent Herbert to develop Lady Gaga. She also served as a Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records. Before that, as music supervisor, she executive produced a string of successful soundtrack projects and was primarily know for her expertise in rock music. Cherry started her music career in promotion and publishing with several successful publishing joint ventures. Cherry has tapped music executive Joseph Charles to serve as the General Manager of the label and Gillian Arditi to facilitate A&R/Creative.
