An NYPD cop thought it was a bright idea to use the credit card of a deceased man to ice out her finger.

According to the NY Daily News, Ymmacula Pierre “is accused of disgraceful conduct by using the credit card information of a dead man to buy expensive jewelry,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance.

Pierre was the officer called to E. 14th street to check on a 65 year-old man who had not shown up to work and found Ken Sanden dead inside.

Sources say she used Sanden’s Samsung Galaxy to contact his niece and she also vouchered some of his property, including his MasterCard, prosecutors said.

She also allegedly wrote down Sanden’s credit card and email information for her own personal use.

Pierre was quickly caught because a couple of days later, Sanden’s card was used to buy a diamond ring online from Zales for $3,282.58, authorities said.

The good news is, she never got the ring because the credit card company notified Sanden’s niece who stopped the ring from being shipped.

The NYPD said Pierre has been suspended without pay for 30 days the NY Daily New Reports.
