Get used to hearing the name King Hendricks. Simply put, the kid can rap. Currently the kid is prepping for the release of his project “Addicted To Living” which does not have a release date yet. What it does have is a great list of features including Beat King, Sauce Walka, Mannie Sauce, D Boss, Jhonni Blaze and King Phinix. Beat King also takes a turn at the boards for this project. Exhibit A is todays offering, “Boss In My City” ft. Sauce Walka. The lyrics are self explanatory and Beat King’s stomping track provides the perfect tempo for a young upstart to showcase his machismo.
Houston native by way of Louisiana, King Hendricks is no new jack that got lucky, music was his predetermined destiny. Now a resident in the city of Syrup, King’s life story is one that could be narrated by him only. His undeniable talent, helped him to ink a deal, with the Houston based label Str8Lace. Str8Lace has cultivated the talent of some of Houston’s hottest artists under the direction of its CEO Meechie. His past and present singles continue to surpass the expectations of his peers, DJs, and the entire southern region.
