Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis Johnson in the new movie Creed. If the title did not give you a hint at what it is about, it is a spinoff of the ‘Rocky’ franchise as Johnson is the son of boxer Apollo Creed. Johnson learns about his father, who died before he was born, from Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).
Creed has Michael B. Jordan around some familiar people if you have followed his career. The director is Ryan Coogler who directed Fruitvale Station, where Jordan played Oscar Grant. We also see Wood Harris who was the hit show The Wire with Jordan as Avon Barksdale.
Creed is out in theaters nationwide on November 25th.
