When news spread that G-Unit rapper Kidd Kidd was arrested on Tuesday night during the XXL Freshman concert, fans were curious know the reason.
According to NY Daily News, the 31-year-old G-Unit rapper, whose real name is Curtis Stewart, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend back in February. Stewart slammed his 25-year-old girlfriend into a dresser, then threw her on the bed, and grabbed her by the neck.
Kidd Kidd appeared in front of a judge at Manhattan criminal court on Wednesday. His lawyer, Scott Leemon, called the allegations “baseless.”
Footage was captured by a fan that shows the G-Unit rapper getting put into cuffs and taken away by undercover police officers.
