There are times more often than not when fans get upset at an artist for not caring about their fans or showing much appreciation. While musicians are too busy to read every tweet or post their tagged in, it makes can make a person’s day to just get a reply from them.
Monday night it reached Drake that a 17-year old fan of his named Jamal Utton had passed away during a rugby tour last week. The hashtag #Drakenoticejamal was able to reach the Toronto rapper and he was able to send out his condolences via Instagram.
“Heard this young man was a big fan. Rest In Peace Jamal. Watch over me from way up above!”
Classy move and very admirable Drake, these simple acts of kindness to the people goes a long way.
