New on the Atlanta rap scene is Brick who linked up with Retro that Kid for the new single ‘Amazin’. The song is really just a feel good ode to living life and doing what you want to do, hence when you here the chorus ‘This shit is Amazin’. Brick is new to rap scene but shows great potential already to make a name for himself with a distinctive voice matched with a gritty and aggressive delivery. Not to be outmatched is the wit that he can also display.
Being the perfect match for the song is Retro tha Kid, who has been putting work in the streets and has been featured on shows with Rich Homie Quan and Waka Flocka. Retro has the cool and laid back flow making his bars come off with ease without forcing anything, a tough task when trying to spit real lyrics. You can also check out his latest solo single, ‘Cousin’ to get a better feel for him as an artist.
He also has his hand in the fashion game, anyone that lives in Atlanta has seen the Local Trap Star clothing line which he is a heavy affiliate with. Dej Loaf, Chris Brown, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky just to name a few have rocked custom Local Trap Star gear.
