‘I drove here in Wraith playin AR-AB’, that line had a lot of hip hop fans wondering who AR-AB was after getting the name drop on Drake’s ‘Back to Back’. Since then he has been doing a lot of interviews about the situation with Meek Mill and Drake since AR-AB knows Meek and is from Philly. Some of the things he has said include being disappointed in Meek’s response in ‘Wanna Know’, a deal with OVO could happen and that some of his affiliates have given Drake the red carpet to come to Philly.
Probably being upset that AR-AB is seemingly siding with Drake on this feud, Meek got in his feelings on stage in Camden, New Jersey. Mill says, ‘Fck Ar-Ab. How dare a fcking Philly ngga dck ride a n*gga from out of town?’ Is speaking your honest opinion a form of D riding? If it is an answer that Meek Mill does not want to hear, then yes. This comes right after AR-AB was on Charlemagne the God’s podcast ‘The Brilliant Idiots’ and said he had no problem with Meek.
Maybe the fact it was Charlemagne bringing him, and it has him paranoid as Drake shouted Charlemagne out as well and really sent him some bottles following the release of ‘Back to Back’. Hopefully this is not going to become the next beef because while AR-AB does rap he mostly known as a street dude and this could become a serious altercation if not settled soon. Meek Mill is trying to run himself out the rap game by going at all the wrong people.
