After four long years on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the public only wanted to know two things about reality star Karlie Redd, her real age and what her daughter looks like. In a web exclusive clip for “Love & Hip Hop,” Karlie’s daughter Jasmine takes a trip to Atlanta to spend some time with her mom.
During the clip, Jasmine says she wants to quit school to begin her career, but Karlie enters “mommy” mode and tells her to continue school and that she has no say so when it comes to her education. Karlie then reminds her that she had to postponed because she got pregnant with Jasmine during her school days, but she eventually got her degree.
Realizing that her mom is not having it, Jasmine changes the subject and asks Karlie what has gone on in her life. Karlie, who is dating singer Lyfe Jennings, says she is ready for a baby boy.
This is the first time the public has seen a more calm and down to earth Karlie instead of her having her reality TV “mask” on. Hopefully next season we will get to see Karlie’s softer side.
Look out for the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” reunion, which airs on August 24th at 9pm Eastern, on VH1.
