The most important part of a rapper’s legacy is their albums, but for Jay Electronica starting a rap beef out of no where can create a buzz.

Looks like Jay Electronica has a problem with two of rap’s biggest stars at the moment. During a XOYO in London, Jay threw shade a t J. Cole and Drake. Calling himself the “God of Hip Hop,” and called out the two young MC’s in competition for that title.

“Jay Electronica is the God of Hip-Hop. You might be the 6 God, but I am the God,” he said, which is clearly a diss to Drake.

While the DJ was playing Skepta’s “Shutdown,” Electronica interrupted him because he had a few words for fellow Roc Nation labelmate J. Cole. “I’m sorry but J. Cole ain’t got bars like this. I’m sorry, whoever your favorite rapper is, they all know that I’m the God.”

A few weeks ago, Jay took his hip hop frustrations to Twitter and stated that rap was a “clown circus,” when Meek Mill and Drake were beefing.

Do you think he is just creating a buzz for a future album release or do you think the beef is more personal? Hopefully these three rappers will take a trip to the studio soon.
